My Epiphone Les Paul Jr. fits in it VERY Nicely. Snug fit inside the case padding. I am confident the guitar is well protected. Very nice internal "Fur." Generous and well placed storage compartment. Attractive. For this review, I went OCD on the case, examining the stitching and the riveting and screws of the attached hardware. I'm quite impressed with the workmanship of this made in China case. The external screws which hold the inside storage compartment crossmembers are flush, sturdy and have no gaps. The four latches and two hinges riveting and mounting are flush, sturdy, and well alligned. OCD: One of the latches has two small scratches on it....not particularly noticable....nothing you're not going to get on your own after a trip or two...Unless you're OCD. The handle is well placed, apparently with center of gravity in mind. It is placed such that when the guitar is inside the handle is comfortable, the heavier body carried comfortably lower. OCD: There is a SMALL gap between one of the handle mounts and the case. The handle is mounted at the cases curvature...not noticable...unless you are OCD. I went OCD on the case trim. I TRIED LIKE HECK to find the place where the lower trim began/ended and could not find it. I tried by sight and feel and could not find it. I went OCD on it. Can't find it. There is a slight OCD "misalignment" in the upper trim. You can see and feel where it starts and ends. Probably something a fine leather craftsman could disguise. Pretty normal, and unnoticable to us non-OCD types. This case has a lock. It works. I'm not OCD; Whoever thought a lock on a guitar case matters...was. I guess it's a nice "was somebody inside my guitar case, but they didn't steal my guitar" indicator. Can't imagine you'll ever use it, but it works. What a very nice case. Your Epiphone will fit snuggly and be well protected inside its well padded furry interior. A nice looking exterior. A nice value. Well crafted. Gives me the impression that Gibson was particular about the vendor who manufactured it. Seems like they really care about a product with the "Epiphone" name prominently displayed on it.
